Nuvole, pioggia, neve e gelo saranno i nostri compagni per questo fine settimana.

I pochi eletti che saranno baciati dal sole, tremeranno comunque dentro ai loro piumini.

La grande domanda è: come proteggere i nostri piedi da questo freddo?

Sono già svariate stagioni che questi stivali imperversano un pò ovunque. Io non li amo particolarmente, lo ammetto, ma ormai sono talmente diffusi che non posso non parlarne all'interno di questa rubrica.

Clouds, rain, snow and frost will be our partner for this week-end.

From many season this boots rage everywere. I don't love them so much, I admit, but they are so diffused that I cannot avoid to speak about them in this column.

Un pò migliora, soprattutto in alcune zone del nord, ma non si può certo parlare di una primavera in anticipo!

Se vi siete stancate del solito piumino, se come me, dopo un pò vi annoiate ed iniziate a cercare nell'armadio...una valida alternativa potrebbe essere il parka.

Tornato in voga proprio in questo periodo, è eclettico e facile da abbinare spaziando dal denim, la pelle, fino ad arrivare al più femminile degli abiti.

cose d'altri tempi

Immagini che si affacciano dal passato. Le mie nonne che le indossavano spesso. Foto rovinate dal tempo ma non per questo meno belle, anzi molto di più.

Raramente le abbiamo viste sfilare in queste ultime passerelle, ma non per questo sono poco attuali o hanno perso il loro fascino "antico". Almeno per me.

Mi piacciono le spille. Mi piacciono quando sono indossate alla vecchia maniera, semplicemente appuntate sul collo di una giacca, su un dolcevita o per rendere più prezioso un cappello.

Usate per stringere un foulard, una sciarpa, per chiudere una giacca anche se ci sono i bottoni.

Mi piacciono usate nei modi più estrosi, per sfiancare una camicia che altrimenti sarebbe larga, sulla schiena.

Per rendere particolare una borsa, per portare con noi ogni giorno i ricordi legati a quella particolare spilla che apparteneva ad una persona a cui teniamo.

Anche quelle moderne, non so perchè, riescono a farmi sentire il loro sapore un pò retrò.

Used to tighten a foulard, a scarf, to close a jacket instead of buttons.

I love to use brooch in different ways, to wear out a large shirt, on the back.

To make special a bag, to keep with us every day the keepsake linked to a brooch belonged to a loved person.

Also modern brooch, I don't know why,  make me feel their old flavour.

Si, lo so. Sono impegnative, irriverenti, sfacciate e io stessa per anni ho affermato: mai!

E invece, pian piano mi sono "abituata" alla vista delle piume, quasi affezionata. Ho iniziato ad apprezzarle sulle scarpe, come dettaglio su una borsa, quando impreziosiscono una basica t-shirt bianca, un paio di guanti o un cerchietto per i capelli.

Le trovo giocose se indossate con un pò di sana e sempre utile autoironia.

Le apprezzo molto di più quando non sono vere e proprie piume ma versioni che le ricordano e le imitano, come nella gonna di Olivia o nel vestito di Sportmax, fatte di seta o tulle.

Forse la svolta è stata qualche mese fa quando, dovendo andare ad una festa il cui tema erano gli anni '20, io e le mie amiche abbiamo indossato bellissimi abiti di perline e la classica coroncina in testa con la piuma nel lato. Un vero e proprio tuffo in un passato molto elegante!

Yes, I know. They are difficult, irreverent, impudent and for many years I say: never!

They are better when are not real but in a version that refert to or copy them, as in Olivia's skirt or Sportmax's dress, made in silk or tulle.

Maybe the turning point was some month ago when, me and my friends went to a 20's party wearing beautiful pearly dress and the classic hairband with the feather on the side

Real back to an elegant past!
