snow again?

Mia nonna  ha sempre detto che bisogna essere molto precisi quando si esprimo i desideri perchè potrebbero anche avverarsi.

Devo aver peccato di superficialità quando 10 giorni fa ho chiesto la neve, quando con estrema leggerezza mi sono dimenticata di specificare che ne volevo appena un pò, giusto per imbiancare e rendere magico il paesaggio.

Eccoci quindi alle prese con il secondo week-end di era glaciale!

Tre giorni bloccata a casa.

Tre giorni nei quali più che a Bologna, sembrava di abitare a Sanpietroburgo.

Tre giorni di neve, bufera alternata a piccoli fiocchi, ma pur sempre neve.

Tre giorni di silenzio, relax, film da vedere, libri da leggere, musica da ascoltare, chiacchierate al telefono con le amiche, e-mail mandate, un pò di lavoro fatto da casa, esperimenti in cucina, uscite fugaci alla ricerca di un pò di cibo, impossibile da trovare, spalate, prove di un nuovo colore di smalto ed altre piccole operazioni prettamente femminili.

Tre giorni a tratti anche un pò noiosi, ma di quella noia piacevole che non ho mai l'onore di assaporare duranti i giorni "normali", quando la frenesia delle cose da fare vince sempre su tutto.

Tre giorni che mi piace considerare un regalo speciale.

Three days at home.

During this three days it seems to live in Sanpietroburgo instead of Bologna.

Three days of snow, very hard snow alternate to small snowflakes, but always snow.

Three days of silence, relax, movie to see, book to read, music to listen, phone call with my friends, e-mails, just a little bit of work made at home, kitchen experiment, very fast exit to find some food, impossible to find, shovel, test of a new colours of enamel and other small feminine things.

Three days sometimes boring, but the good boredom that I never taste during the "normal" days, when the lots of things to do win to all the rest.

Three days that I love to consider a special gift.

Se vi siete stancate del solito piumino, se come me, dopo un pò vi annoiate ed iniziate a cercare nell'armadio...una valida alternativa potrebbe essere il parka.

piccole guerre quotidiane

Domenica mattina: ancora al caldo sotto al piumone, i rumori ovattati che vengono dall'esterno che ci fanno capire che forse fuori nevica, il silenzio, la giornata davanti per oziare e godersi la neve vista dalla finestra, un thè caldo, un buon libro.

Lundì mattina: la sveglia in anticipo, il traffico congestionato della città imbiancata, la lotta contro il tempo per arrivare in ufficio, il mio modo per combattere questa piccola battaglia quotidiana. Il mio look "simil Siberia" per non congelare!

Vi ricordate quando Colin Firth nel Diario di Bridget Jones arriva indossando il maglione che gli ha regalato la mamma per Natale? quello con la renna gigante davanti?

In quel momento era decisamente out, fuori moda, un pò...passatemi il termine, da "sfigato".

Oggi farebbe la figura di un ragazzo molto trendy!

Infatti, probabilmente, oggi la mamma gli avrebbe regalato un altro maglione...

Stelle di natale, fiocchi di neve, renne! Tutto questo è arrivato a popolare i nostri pull, coprispalle, cuffie, sciarpe. Una vera e propria invasione, un vero tuffo nel passato, e con l'inizio della stagione invernale, una gran voglia di montagna, baite, sci.

Complice la neve che da ieri imbianca Bologna rendendola bellissima, silenziosa e romantica...stamattina quando ho aperto le finestre lo spettacolo era meraviglioso, soffice, luminoso, rilassante.

Le vetrine dei negozi sono popolate dai maglioni con le trecce...si proprio quelli che indossavamo ai tempi delle scuole medie!

Erano larghi quanto bastava per combattere la timidezza.

 Colorati o neutri, con trecce più o meno grandi, magari fatti a mano dalle nostre mamme.

Possiamo decidere di farne uno noi, di regarlo ad un'amica, di farne uno per il nostro fidanzato, oppure più semplicemente di andare a comprarlo.

E' bello sia abbinato ai jeans, sia ad una gonna più elegante.

Fantastico con i pantaloni di pelle.

The shop window are full of cable-knit sweater...yes, the sweater we worn when we was very young!

They was large to fight our shyness, coloured or neutral, with cable-knit more or less big, maybe hand-made by our mum.

We can decide to make one by ourself, to make a gift to our bestfriend, to make one for our boyfriend, or simply to go to buy it. 

It is beautiful with our denim, or also with an elegant skirt.
